Fun times at Camp Bentzon Part 2!!!

Just looking around the place was eye catching. Everywhere you look was so beautiful. If you wondering what I’m talking about, it’s camp Bentzon.

Kayaking was one of my fears but now, it’s not. When we first started camp, I was afraid of kayaking. But when I tried it, I got use to it. I had conquered one fear.

Well, on that day I felt scared, but then, I did it and I never gave up. When your doing something like that, how do you feel?

Fun times at Camp Bentzon!!!

Would you like to visit camp Bentzon? Well, most of our year 6’s went on a camp trip there. There were a lot of things to do at camp. Let’s explore my interesting experience.

On day 1 we got to have free time, by free time I mean Swimming, Volleyball, Gridiron and others. I went swimming and we all got to jump off the pontoon and there were a lot of splashes. We had a game of Volleyball (by we, I mean Mary and I).

Another activity that we did was hiking. Oh no, walking up steep, steep hills. It was so difficult because when we got up to steep hills, we would always slip. We made a chant and it goes “I will, you will, we will, never give up.” When someone is starting to give up, we would say the chant.

Have you ever wanted to conquer your fear? Well, Mansion B had a cool activity that was concourse. Concourse is short for confidence course. Using three point of contact, I did all of the things in the confidence course and I conquered my fear.

When we left, I felt sad because I didn't want to leave. Now, I feel alright because my friends. I still feel a little bit sad but I feel alright at the same time.

Camp Bentzon!!!

Was it possible, were we really going on camp to Kawau island! I didn’t think it was true until our teacher told us. I was so excited that I couldn’t even wait until the day.

Year 6’s had alot of camp meeting because well it was almost time for us to leave for our camp. Siting there ,wondering what we were going to do, I still thought I was going to have a great and enjoyable time. I’m sure that we’re all going to have a great time(hopefully).

I think a plus is that I have friends going and that I’m going to have a very good time. A minus for me is Totally NOTHING!!!!! Something that I find interesting is that we have to walk a long, long way.

I feel so excited because camp is just around the corner. How do you feel when camp is just around the corner? I will tell you everything that happened when I get back.

Willow Park Camp!

Have you ever been been on a camp to Willow Park? Well, as you already know the holidays are for 2 weeks, I got to go on a camp for a whole week. If you went on this camp, I bet you would want to go again and again.

Games that we played. . .let me think spot light, chocolate fish hunt, we got to go to Eastern beach and have a sandcastle competition, we got to ride on the green machines , sports games like volley ball, tag, soccer, basketball and we got a lot of free time. I know, that might sound like a lot of games, but it wasn’t. Oh, and we had to go for fitness and that was running up a hill.

Ever camp that we have, all of the groups have to preform their dance. After that we usually go to sleep, but this time, we got to have a Disco. We were all dancing the night away and then at 10:00 we had to go to sleep and we got to sleep in a cabin with bunk beds.

I had a very fun time at Willow park, not just because I got to get away from home, but because I got to make new friends and I had a great time. Hopefully you have a great time if you go on a camp to Willow park. By the way, pick me up if you go too.

Learning, Learning, Learning makes Perfect.

When I do some of this work, It feels like I learn more about some of these countries every single day. It feels incredible. If you look at these, you won't feel any thing, but when it's your work you feel like a mission has been done. A mission has been complete for me. Hope you my slide-show.
